New Wedding Albums!

I’m very excited to share that Madeline Jane Photography is now offering beautiful lay flat flush mounted wedding albums!  These albums come in a variety of sizes with over 20 genuine leather options and 4 different cover styles.  They are hand crafted with thick durable pages that will showcase your big day for generations to come!  I truly believe that every couple should consider purchasing an album.  Here are a few reasons I found…

  1. Do you remember a VHS and how quickly that turned into a small, sleek high quality CD?  A new, hot technology advancement is just around the corner… get those timeless photographs printed so you’re not transferring files from DVD’s to whatever is next just to preserve your wedding photos.
  2. CD’s and digital files are VERY easy to loose! Have you ever had a hard drive fail or computer crash?  I have, and loosing everything, not to mention meaningful photographs is devastating.  Unless you make backups, double backups and store them in a fireproof, waterproof case, you risk the chance of loosing your digital copies.
  3. Remember, this album isn’t just for you either.  It’s for your children who want to see pictures of their young parents on one of the happiest days of their life!  Because when your children or even grandchildren go through your attic and find a USB or DVD they will have no idea what to do with it and it probably won’t work in their super modern computer!
  4. Yes, albums can be on the pricy side, but they should be!  When making an investment, you don’t want to invest in something that is cheap or made out of cheap materials, especially if you want it to hold the same quality for years to come. Why not make the space in your budget for something that will last far beyond your wedding day!

The album pictured is a 12×12 square with an acrylic cover.

Anna is Expecting Baby Number 4!

When I saw an email from Anna in my inbox a few months ago I couldn’t wait to open it!  Two years ago Anna asked me to photograph her third child being born.  I have to admit, at first I had no idea what to say!  I’d never photographed a birth or even met Anna!  As I thought more about it I began to realize the miracle of childbirth and what an exciting and fun time it is for a family.  I said YES to the shoot and absolutely loved it!  Here is the link to Symeon’s birth.

Anna is pregnant with baby number four and wasn’t looking for your typical maternity photos!  Anna is up for anything!  Lay down on a sheet of ice over the water with nothing but a sheer piece of fabric… no problem!  Thanks for being such an awesome client Anna!

Tim and Kara are Married!

Tim and Kara had a beautiful afternoon wedding the weekend after Christmas.  I could see and feel the love these families had for one another and it was truly something special.   The Berteotti family will always hold a special place in my heart as Tim’s mom was my high school art teacher and played a HUGE role in my decision to become a photographer.  I was honored to be a part of such an exciting day!

Josh & Laci are Getting Married!

Josh and Laci are SO much fun and I can’t wait for their big day!  I love having clients I connect with instantly, like old friends.  Josh and Laci are those kind of people.  I really enjoyed my evening with the two of you!  Here are some of my favorites.

I Have Some Exciting News!

As many of you have seen from photographs, I’ve been living in Jamaica on and off since last December. I graduated college early and saw it as an opportunity to spend a semester volunteering before my student loan payments kicked in. Little did I know that those 7 weeks would turn into 4 months and then 7 months and now a part time job.  I’m officially on staff with Won By One to Jamaica as an accountant and communications assistant. I’ve relocated to DuBois, PA, where the ministry is run state side, and I’m living and working at the Inn at Narrows Creek, which is a bed and breakfast owned by the couple who founded Won By One 25 years ago.

I spent last week in Jamaica for the annual board meeting as well as to reconnect with my Jamaican friends and share the good news about being on staff. I knew that my time in the community this year was appreciated but the responses I got when sharing the news about my position brought me to tears. They truly consider me family.  My time in Harmons this week was painfully short but it reassured my decision to be a part of this ministry and I’m extremely excited to see where God leads me over the next few years.  My schedule still allows for my passion of telling stories through photography so please don’t hesitate to contact me no matter where you consider home.
