  • WELCOME!

Hello and welcome to Madeline Jane Photography! As you may have guessed, I'm Madeline, the girl behind the camera. When I'm not taking photographs I'm exploring different cities, backpacking in the Rockies or planning my next big adventure. Let's face it, I have the travel bug and the World has so much to offer! Although I am a busy girl, I'm proud to call Pittsburgh my home.

Off on Another Adventure!

I’m posting my 365 project early this week because tomorrow morning I’m flying to Jamaica to volunteer and do some documentary work for 7 weeks.  I will have limited access to internet and really hope that I can continue to post once a week. We had some beautiful snowfall this week and I finally made it to the river!  I wish everyone a great start to the new year!

Audrianna and Danny are Getting Married!

Have you ever noticed the couple that lights up the entire room when they walk in and you can feel the love they have for one another?  Audrianna and Danny are that kind of couple.  During our snow covered engagement session it was like I wasn’t even there and they were just enjoying a late morning walk followed by a snowball fight!  Needless to say I am SO excited for the wedding!

Another Week of Photographs

My first week back at home went so fast and it was great to visit with family and friends.  I spent three days in Pittsburgh walking the familiar river trail, eating my way through the Strip District and catching up with friends.  This week was great and reminded me of how much I love Pittsburgh.

365 Project!

These images are from my last week in Flagstaff and my first day back at home.  It’s hard to believe how quickly the last four months have gone!  I landed in Pittsburgh on Sunday and was welcomed by dark grey skies, pouring rain and green rolling hills.  It feels good to be home, driving over the rivers and smelling the sweet scent of rain.  I’m certain it’s rained more here in 2 days than it has since September in Flagstaff.  The West will always hold a special place in my heart.
